Home stretch with Finals!

Finals, almost over! I can't wait for 2 pm Thursday. That's when I'm officially done my first semester of college! I will survive!!!

First, I have to get through two finals, along with a ten page paper that's due for one of my finals. Unfortunately, it does NOT count as my final. :( So I will be extremely dead tomorrow.

I'm almost done with the 10 page paper though, which is good... even though it's holding me back from studying for my other two. :( WHY DO YOU DO THIS TO ME AWESOME MUSIC TEACHER?!?!? WHHYYYY?!?!!?!!?!?

FINALS.

Let me first recap my weekend before I go crazy:

Friday: went to Panera Bread with the boyfriend. Panera is DELICIOUS. :D
Saturday: wrote the majority of a paper that was due Monday, went to an Improv club that night and went to go see the big Christmas tree by the white house... only to find that they turn the lights off at 11. :(
Sunday: WORK WORK WORK WORK WORK.

Okay, SOH! I have 2 finals today. trying not to freak out... at all. no big deal.... MEH.
Studied last night for Calculus a heck of a lot with a girl from my calc class... she kept asking me things and i could answer them, but i don't know if i'll be able to answer the questions on the exam. *sigh* i have my college writing final first, and then i have about 20 minutes to get to my calc final. I say today's a box lunch day, wouldn't you?

wish me luck!!

Finals are approaching...

So as you can see from my title, finals are approaching.

This is my last week of classes. Hooray and not hooray! I had work to do, ya know. It's fun but... not fun at the same time.

I had one class on Tuesday (because one was cancelled to do work) and two classes (instead of three) on Thursday (to do work on a movie analysis). Fun times, eh? I thought so.

So instead of reviewing for a final right now, I'm posting while i'm waiting for people to get lunch in the Tavern (aka food and plenty of space to just chill). Nothing special.

This weekend's gonna be full of studying... maybe i'll manage to take a break from stuDYING and go somewhere?? i'll see what will happen.

Thanksgiving break!

My gosh, I'm sorry that I've been super busy. Here, get a taste of the college life.

October:
  1. Friend from home visited me on the 10th. Dali Llama was in town. didn't see his presentation. oh well. no biggie.
  2. Another friend came into town over my fall break (which was the following weekend) and we went out and around town and whatnot. Yay fun times.
  3. The weekend after that was parent's weekend. Went out to dinner with my parents, my boyfriend and his mom. Cheesecake factory is YUMMY. Went shopping the following day, and that was fun too. I like shopping. :D
  4. Halloween: nothing happened. stayed in with my boyfriend. Watched movies and fooled around a little bit. teehee.

November:
  1. i celebrated my boyfriend's birthday with him by going out to Hard Rock Cafe. I got him season 1 of "How I Met Your Mother" - GOOD stuff, I know.
  2. There's a girl on my floor whose birthday was the following day. we all went out to a diner that was like, a 1/2 hour away, walking. in the cold. had breakfast for dinner, but still. was not a fan of walking that far.
  3. I helped set up for a concert I didn't go to. Forever the sickest kids, My Favorite Highway, Sing it Loud, and someone else who i forget all performed.
  4. Saw Three 6 Mafia on 11/21, they were a big disappointment. Oh well. They didn't do any of their popular hits, like "Stay Fly" or "Lolli Lolli" and that made me sad. :(
  5. also, lots of homework and whatnot to do. eh. it happens.
don't know what to get the boyfriend for Christmas, and I'm kind of freaking out about that. ALKJDFA;OIJF;LAKGD;SLJ

There. Now I get a week to stress out before finals. No social life. AT ALL. After that though, I will be home and it will be AWESOME. :D

Catching up...

So I have plenty of things to catch up on. Sorry i've been behind.

First: HAPPY OCTOBER!

Second: On Tuesday (9/29) my day was extremely awesome and then went downhill. I shall explain.
The boy was acting all suspicious when I went to lunch with him and I was like, what's going on? why won't you tell me? and other questions like that. He wouldn't answer. But whatever. I come back to my dorm, open the door and there is a vase full of flowers, and the bottom of the vase is surrounded with 6 Reese's peanut butter cups - my favorite. The note is SOOOO adorable, I love it.

It reads:
*Insert my name here*
My life has been such a whirlwind since I saw you
I've been running circles in my mind
and it always seems that you girl
can take me to the place that alone I'll never find.
I love you! *insert boyfriend's name here*

now, the actual lines there (not the "I love you" but everything else) is from "Can't fight this feeling" - which is sung by Finn in the first episode of one of my favorite shows, "Glee".

After this wonderful exchange, I go to my other class, then run off to do errands in Tenleytown with my roommate, where i get a phone call from one of my mom's friends at home, asking if i'm okay and how i'm feeling and stuff like that, where I'm like, ....yeah, i'm fine... why wouldn't i be? and she realized she called too early.

Two minutes later (while i'm still in the store) my mom calls and tells me that my grandmother died. It was my grandmother on my mom's side, and she was sick for 2-3 years. It was especially hard on my mom while she was sick because my mom ran EVERYWHERE for my grandmother - she got her medicine, went to get groceries, went to the hospital with her when she was sick, brought her food, did like EVERYTHING for her. But I'm glad that my mom doesn't have to do all of that anymore, even though my grandmother's gone. She wasn't the same when she was sick, so i'm trying to think of all the good memories with her (before she was sick) and realize that she's in a better place and she's not suffering anymore.

I was a mess that day. A little bit on the following day. Was very sad on Thursday. Friday, I went home. Was a wreck at the viewing Friday and the funeral Saturday. I'm glad I got to see my family though. All 10 of my cousins and all of my aunts and uncles. My friend came from her college with her parents, along with my friend from high school (i know you'll be reading this, so thank you) and yeah. it was nice to see people. I felt like i didn't know half the people though when they kept greeting us and all of that.

Third: MY TEACHERS DECIDED TO HATE ME AND ASSIGN 4 TESTS FOR ME TO TAKE THIS WEEK. I already had 2, and I have 2 more coming up. One was a re-test, but still, ya kno?

Fourth: I went out to dinner with my uncle on Tuesday, he was in DC for work. a little awkward considering i just saw him for the funeral, but again, dinner was nice. we just went to some pizza place in Tenleytown. quiet, but nice. he offered to get me a glass of wine, and i'm like, I don't drink, you should know this! haha.

Fifth: trying to get ahead with work because i've been busy.

Sixth: a friend from home is coming early on Saturday and leaving even earlier on Sunday. wahoo for seeing friends from home! :D

Seventh: I'm going to go finish my work so I can watch GLEE! YAY GLEE I'M SO PSYCHED!

one month!

hooray, today is our one month anniversary. aka wowman/magicman and my bad self.
we are bosses like that. :D
i'll let you know how the day plans out.

anyway, i went home for the weekend, apparently i had/have a sinus infection. i am currently on antibiotics and will be finished with them in... 2 or 3 days. yay antibiotics!

trip home! it wasn't actually bad. i took the amtrak to 30th street station in Philadelphia. that place is a little confusing. but it's nice. really big and nice. anyway, amtrak was easy, along with the one down here in DC. got some reading done on the train, nothing too exciting.
went to the football game at my high school, and i got to see a good amount of people. there were a few people there who graduated with me who i got to see, along with two people who graduated the year before me. there's one other girl here at school with me who i graduated with, and she was apparently at the game. i didn't see her, but still, that was weird.

spent some time with the parents, it was pretty relaxed. had quiche and ribs and a baked potato with my parents and my grandmother. she was sooooooooooo happy to see me, even if i was sick. i'm glad i was able to make people's weekends.

"Days go by and still I think about you"

So i've been behind with stuff.

I had a paper due on Monday and i had lots of stuff going on this week, aka tests and papers to do.
well, not a lot of tests, but i have a lot of work because I want to get it done before the weekend (i'm not gonna be in D.C., so excited to go away!)

I think i'm coming down with something. :( yesterday i woke up and my nose was being uber gross and i had a sore throat. today i still feel gross and my throat doesn't hurt, it's just kind of.. raw i guess would be the best way to put it. hot tea is amazing. and soup. love soup.

i want to get better NOW. seriously, it's ridiculous. i'm not happy about this illness or WHATEVER is going around, you know? it sucks. majorly.

there are a few cases of swine flu around campus, but i don't think it's that bad... although i think there is a guy on my floor who might have it, which sucks because he's too stubborn to go to the health center (his parents are both doctors and he'd rather see them...) but he should go see a doctor or something so he can get over whatever he has. i know he was puking yesterday, poor guy. i just don't want his germs.

the boyfriend is going back to his hometown this weekend because he didn't want to spend his weekend here without me. sweet, but i was like it's okay! you don't have to go home and all this stuff, but whatever. he wants to go. we'll probably end up talking on skype so he won't miss me too much.

missed the weekend?

Somehow, I managed to miss the weekend.
anyway, i only had one class on friday because my teacher was sick.
calculus is annoying. we got out early anyway.

Saturday I went shopping with wowman/magicman. got a sweater, and it was exciting.

we didn't do anything really on Saturday night.

Sunday was really just a study day. spent time with wowman/magicman.
we just cuddled at one point and he broke the silence with "I love you".

*SQUEAL!* yeah. it was very exciting.

today i had all my classes. fun times. just really doing work and trying to get it all done before TV time tonight. gossip girl, big bang theory, AND how i met your mother are all on tonight. not to mention one tree hill and Two and a Half Men.

SO MUCH TV!!!

class minus teachers = what?

So I usually have 3 classes.
Today though, i had a teacher absent for understanding Media. There is a teaching assistant in that class, so we still took our quizzes and then we talked about resumes and stuff. it was thrilling

then i went to my anthro class, nothing special there. then came back and procrastinated a little, actually changed my sheets though. that was fun.

had lunch, went to understanding music, but the teacher... wasn't there... so class was cancelled.
FIRST CANCELLED CLASS! Wahoo.

Anyway, that extra time I had allowed me to finish my paper by 5 p.m. again, fun times.
glad I got it out of the way though.
now i am going to attempt to write another paper for Monday for a different class... and i shall... be bored? I don't know. i'm just hoping that I can get work done tonight and actually be productive. XP

Glee (hooray!)

First things first: I wanted to confirm that Transformers 2 is NOT worth your time. Seriously. 2 and 1/2 hours of watching metal clash is not very entertaining. They just needed to cut down on timing some parts. I wanted to leave halfway through the movie, but decided against it.

Okay!! Now on to Wednesday: i had an appointment with the writing center about a paper that's due on Friday, so I got some ideas down (hooray!) and now I'm about halfway done my paper. good start, eh?

After that, I went to the student involvement fair. I signed up for too many clubs, but hey, i'm getting involved! YAY! :D I also got a free pin that says "Be Rude" from the group called "Rude Mechanics". it's the acting club on campus.

Calculus was calculus, nothing special.

after calculus though, i joined my roommates in not going on facebook until 5 p.m. so I could get some work done. I actually studied a good bit and started the paper that I'm almost halfway done. Yay progress!

Dinner... nothing fun.

after dinner... again, studied for a quiz i have tomorrow and shifted between that and the paper.

when Glee time rolled around, I went to the boyfriends. his room mate was at call backs for an a cappella group on campus. Yay for alone time. :D it was a grand old time. I kept joking around about how I needed to leave and stuff and he kept stopping me each time.

I keep repeating myself, and I'm well aware of it.
i'm in trouble....

ROBEK'S!

I had class today as normal, arguing in college writing was fun. calculus was shorter than normal... did do well compared to some people in the class who failed. apparently a significant amount of us did. whatever, i'm content with my grade... even though I was hoping for a higher one.

ANYWAY. After class (which got out early. :D) I went to CVS, Best Buy and Robek's with my roomies. got some errands done. =P Robek's has the best smoothies and i LOVE it!! :P

got my math hw done and other fun stuff like that... went to dinner, and now i'm back here. tonight i'm going to a student union board meeting with my roomies and then we might go see transformers. fun times.

Date and classes

The date went quite well. We went to an italian restaurant in the town right near campus, so we didn't have to take the metro. :) it was cute, and they gave me a HUGE serving of spaghetti and meatballs. I was like... i can't finish this. but i still enjoyed it.

We then took a walk around campus and then wanted to have some alone time... oh gosh, just thinking about it makes my heart jump. o.O Both of my roommates were watching the VMAs, so we were able to have his roommate leave for an hour. (i seriously meant an hour, wowman/magicman meant more, but i felt bad for kicking Tool out because he was actually getting work done). anyway, our alone time was... (for a lack of a better word) amazing. i honestly can not think of another word to describe it. just being around him makes me happy. :D

after the hour was up, we walked back to campus with a few bruises (more on him than me... XP) and we played "The Beatles" version of Rock Band. I was actually surprised that I liked it. Maybe that's just me though. I don't listen to them.

MONDAY: Classes. boring. normal stuff. discussed VMAs and how Kanye is a jerk and how Beyounce is awesome, along with Lady Gaga's disturbing/intriguing performance. my anthro professor twisted her ankle so the TA took over... and it was easier to hear because a) the TA is louder than the professor and b) i got a good seat in the middle of the room. music class was eh, nothing special. discussed the same piece of classical music by Beethoven. good times. XP

S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y NIGHT! (take 2)

So I didn't blog at all this weekend. sorry about that.

Wow-man needs a new nickname because he's my boyfriend now... hmm... i might call him magic-man instead because he does card tricks and stuff. it's actually quite entertaining.

anyway, Wow-man/magic-man and I are going out to dinner tonight instead because last night was a bust. We still had dinner together, just not what was planned. I went shopping with 2 girl floormates at a mall that's like, 30 mins or so away. The metro was behind too, which didn't help.
We hit up Forever 21 and they both got dresses (took one of them forever to find the perfect dress though). I didn't get anything. I plan on going back to the mall this upcoming weekend because I want to actually enjoy shopping instead of being rushed. we apparently needed to get in and get out, but with the girl who was on a mission, we ended up going back to Forever 21 AFTER going up two floors and not finding dresses elsewhere. oh well.

LAST NIGHT. oh my gosh. fun times. We went to this bar called "eyebar" in DC and it was actually really fun. We were dancing and having a grand old time. then the four other people that magicman and I went with decided they wanted to get shots, so they tried going to this frat party nearby, and that didn't work out well for them. they decided to lie to us (magicman and i) and saying that they didn't know how many shots they had and yadda yadda. they told us on our way back. either way, magicman and I enjoyed our time alone in the club. =D it was fun.

note to self: do NOT wear heels to a club ever again. my feet killed at the end of the night, and my ankle is still sore now. oh well.

getting some work done and then i'm going on my date tonight. =D

Friday, September 11, 2009

flags are half staff...

So yeah, it's 9/11, 8 years later.

Fun times. =(

how fitting is it that my calculus teacher gave us an exam today?? just wondering.

whatever, it's the weekend. hoorah. :D i'm happy.
tonight i'm going to an a cappella concert on campus. :)
yay free entertainment!!!!

Study study study...

glee was AMAZING! Can't wait for the rest of the season.

After my 3 classes today, i studied for my math exam (which is tomorrow) a heck of a lot.
grawr. dislike calculus with a fiery passion. at least it will be over tomorrow!!!

So psyched for tomorrow night and Saturday night. (my weekend is FREE!!!!)
Saturday Wow-man's gonna take me out to dinner. =D
don't know where yet, but i'll keep you in the loop.

bedtime now, then i'll get up early to study more. wahoo.

Flu shot...

I only had one class today. :)
Calculus. fun times.
We reviewed stuff for the whole class. I asked a question about a proof and it took about half the class period. Didn't mean to do that, but it happens, ya know?

Lunch and dinner were okay, nothing crazy special. Was with wow-man and other people for both. Got my flu shot at the same time as wow-man. that was fun. Glad i didn't pass out. I had one bad experience when I got my tetanus shot a few years ago, so now I normally lie down whenever I get a shot. I sat down and then walked back to my dorm. I also got a lollipop when I was done. Everyone loves getting candy when they're done. yay candy. :D my arm just hurts now, which is one of the side effects.

okay, I'm going back to work so I can watch the premiere of GLEE!!!! Soooo excited!!!!

PHILLIES!!!

Had classes today. Could not stay awake for the life of me. seemed fine until i sat down in class.
that was when the trouble started.
but i got food after class, along with caffeine, my amazing friend. that helped me out a bit.
i was awake for math, but not as much as i would've liked.

went to the library where i got some coca-cola to keep me going. managed to complete the whole math assignment in one go. hoorah! :P

grabbed dinner and then was off to the Phillies vs Nationals game. Phillies won. Hooray.
i went with my roomie and some of her friends. the other one couldn't go because she had too much homework to do.

saw wow-man at lunch and after i got back. we talked a little bit because i wanted to be inside by midnight. we're making plans for Saturday night. :D

Labor day weekend closing activities

Sunday my parents came down for the day. They brought me stuff. =D I like stuff.
By stuff I mean food, board games, supplies... yeah, the whole shebang.

Anyway, we hit up the "Newseum" - which is a museum for media and news and stuff. it was pretty awesome. I enjoyed it. Then my parents took me out to dinner. Yay food! :)

I got back and then Wow-man and I enjoyed each other's company some more. It was about 2 or 3 in the morning when he was about to leave, and Tool texts him and is like "you sleeping over?" Wow-man said he was going back now, and Tool's response was "oh damn. I wanted a girl to sleep over, haha." so Tool got what he wanted and Wow-man slept over. this time though, i cuddled with him a lot before we slept. yay for cuddling. :) we ended up sharing a bed because we were tired. There was one or two times where I woke up and i was close to the wall. oh well. =P

Well yesterday was eventful too. We went to the air and space museum with a floor mate. :) we also hit up the smithsonian museum of natural history (or something like that) and looked for the giant shark teeth. We quoted a random clip from this german movie (it's now on youtube) where an actor's like "Shark alarm! Shark alarm! Everyone out of the water! Shark Alarm! Shark alarm! Raise the black flag!" and it sounds really forced.

Then we came back and Wow-man and I watched Hot Rod with my roomie who came back 2 hours early. I had my left over dinner from when I went out with my parents. Then when that was over, we had a little bit of fun and moved it over to his place (Tool was "studying" with the girl who slept over there) and watched Rent. I drove him crazy while watching the movie. :P I do that well. haha.

S-A-T-U-R-D-A-Y NIGHT!

Oh what a Saturday. I actually did a crap load of work on my essay (i was surprised myself). I just shut myself off to the world and made gigantic progress. I just need to get it edited a few times and then I think I'm set. =D I also did the majority of my math homework in addition to cleaning up my room and re-organizing my bookshelf. I did all of that on 5 hours of sleep? crazy.

Around 4 PM we travelled to the great world of Target and I got the undershirts for the party. We then went to Five Guys Burgers and Fries. It's delicious, a little expensive, but delicious. By "we" i mean my normal crew: tool, Wow-man (aka the boyfriend), and a few floor mates (they are normally the same people, or the same people plus one or two extra floor mates.)

We got back around 7:40ish and I was able to attempt a power nap. Didn't work. First, people kept slamming doors, then i got text messages, AND someone wanted their shirts for the party early. Ugh. No luck. That's why I'll be able to sleep wonderfully soon. =D

So we go to the meeting spot for the "highlighter party" and... didn't go. lots of people were invited, our group was actually about 8, but they stopped giving rides around 11ish and we also just got tired of waiting. So we travelled to the nearby town and attempted a club... which looked deserted and we didn't want to go. Wow-man and I came back and enjoyed each other's company, if you know what I mean. ;D but I did enjoy talking with him. We did do a good portion of that too. Actually... i did give him a few hickeys, but he was like "...." because he was speechless. Apparently it felt amazing. I like driving men wild like that... I'm just special.

He said that I was everything he could ever think of in a girlfriend and that I was perfect. He also said that I was the woman of his dreams. I... was speechless.

It's kind of cute- he kept hiding his phone from me (there's a banner on the front of his flip phone) and he didn't want me to see the banner. I did see it today on the shuttle, and I was like.... AWWWW. it said "I Love *Photochika*". (I'm not going to put my real name on here, that would be a little stupid... but my user name is where my real first and last name would go in that little quotation there).

What have I gotten myself in to this time? He is sooooo amazing and I am like... I can't get enough of him. I really can't. =X

TGIF!!!

I know i'm a day late.... but I kind of got caught up and then was extremely tired so I didn't feel like blogging.

I had 2 classes and then a conference with one of my teachers. Basically, I need to rework a good portion of this essay that i was slaving over all week. GAH. oh well. I'll start working on that after i finish cleaning up here.

Last night, however, is a different story. Wow-man, tool, and my floormates went to go see "Inglorious Basterds". It was good, just not my cup of tea. A little too gory if you ask me. We then played this game "kung fu" outside the theater (it's hard to explain) and decided that we needed to go get food. I ended up having ramen while everyone else already had dinner or got subway.

Wow-man and I watched the last episode of Psych (there wasn't a new one this weekend) and then we just hung out in my room. Roomies are gone for the weekend, so we got some alone time. The alone time kind of went on for 4 or 5 hours, and we kind of ended up falling asleep,, we were both extremely tired.

He just left. =O yeah. i know. I'm surprised myself. I might have to take a nap or get some 5-hour energy or something to keep me going today. We're hitting up a "highlighter" party tonight, where you wear a white shirt and people highlight you. Weird, but we're planning to get some men's undershirts for the occasion at Target. woohoo, right?

okay, let me slave over my essay for an extremely long period of time.

Thursday, September 3, 2009

Brownies.

I'm making brownies with my roommates... and one of our floormates. yummy.

Had 2 classes, went to lunch with the boy, then had class again.
totally made up stuff about "Astronomy Domine" by Pink Floyd and how there's text painting involved. did well. =D

went to the study abroad fair and got info about italy, germany, and signed up to get info about Australia. Excitement, much?

Wow-man went to the fair with me and then we all went to dinner upstairs.

finished my essay, which was sooo annoying. =D

I know I said this yesterday, but I need to remember to breathe with wow-man. he is amazing.

Wow-man's coming over to my dorm. my roomies insisted. so i'm gonna go. XD

remember to breathe

One class yesterday (Calculus) and it wasn't too terrible.

went to lunch and had dinner with Wow-man. Dinner was at 7, we hung out til about 8:30ish or so (i showed him pictures of trips, family, and some i took). then we played cards with our friends. :) i am a beast at the game "Egyptian Rat Screw" sometimes... =D

we played cards for about 2 hours or so (with the occasional card trick in between, courtesy of Wow-man) and then we went for a walk outside. I like how I feel like I know him, but there's still so much for me to know. We talked about families and activities we did in high school and stuff.

it was actually pretty nice.

don't get me wrong, we definitely had our moments where we just stared into each other's eyes.
those moments I had to remember to breathe.

our talking session lasted til almost midnight. at 11 i was like, i need sleep. and then nothing happened until i saw it was 11:30 and i was like, i need to gooo and he was like, no not yet. we had our little playful argument for a bit.

as i stated before: i'm in trouble....

You whylin!

Classes weren't too exciting today. No one in my math class understood the homework over the weekend, and you just had to read the graph. We all felt really stupid that we didn't catch that.
I hate those moments where the answer is obvious and I don't catch it. *sigh* it's calculus, you know, what can you do?

I should be working on my essay that's due Friday instead of blogging, but I feel kind of behind in the world of blogging.

Wow-man and I are official (to some degree) and we figured out that we're "whylin" about each other.

Whylin- to be crazy or the act of going crazy.
(that's what it says on urbandictionary.com)

anyway, we watched 2 episodes of family guy last night around 10:30/11ish so i got back around 12:30ish. one of the episodes was extremely cruel and we had to stop it at one point because we were in so much shock. I mean, you expect Family guy to push the envelope, but not only did they push the envelope, they opened it and tore its contents open. it was bad. I was like, hiding and leaning in to him. Yeah, again, it was bad. Oh well.

Back to what happened last night - we kept poking each other and i did tickle him a few times. He was bitter because he couldn't retaliate. It helps to not be ticklish. wahoo.

There were moments where we just stared into each other's eyes. His eyes are blue/green. they switch back and forth. I'm like AHHHH that's so cool!!! Yeah, I'm easily amused like that. :)

Classes, classes, classes...

Oh man.
I had classes today.
nothing exciting.

saw Wow-man at lunch, he walked me to the street before I had to cross the street. very cute of him.
we went to dinner too, and then we went into the garden near my dorm building. We were sitting on a bench in the garden talking about music, and listening to songs on my ipod. It was really sweet, we don't want to leave. Yesterday I didn't want to leave and I was like, "I like looking at you" and his response was "i love looking at you". I'm like, slowly melting inside. He does have his moments where he takes my breath away. What am I going to do with myself??

Monday, August 31, 2009

Oh what a night...

Well, Turns out that wow-man's parents came down for lunch and they went to Georgetown. So I sat around and pretty much did nothing (again) on Sunday.

Well, I did read a few chapters of Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire outside. It was such a nice day outside, I couldn't waste the day sitting inside BLOGGING all day, who does that these days, anyway? XP

I read Harry Potter while my friend down the hall read her book for some class (I forget which class). She went back and forth from the amphitheater and our dorm doing laundry. The last time she went to go do laundry, I was reading and I get this text from Wow-man that says "boo". I turn around and there he his, reading his book on the next bench thing in the amphitheater. It scared the begeezes out of me, but it was nice to see him. We sat there for a good amount of time, talking and reading random lines out of the Chuck Norris fact book his parents got for him. Cute, but it might have been awkward.

Anyway, we went to dinner and then he finished some homework while I started doing laundry (I KNOW! EXCITING, RIGHT?!?!). We were going to go over to his place and watch an episode of "Futurama" but some people decided that we were going to play the video game "Rock Band 2" in the lounge. It was fun, and I brought Wow-man up to play. His roommate (Tool) was there too. Not awkward at all. :P

It was about 11 when I decided that I was gonna go to bed, so I walked Wow-man out to the garden right behind the amphitheater. We walked through that the night before, so we've been there a few times. :P Anyway, we were talking and kissing a little bit. We didn't want to leave each other, we could've stayed there all night. Anyway, we decided that we would have one last kiss and walk away. It was really difficult to walk away, but I did it. He almost ran after me too, but he caught himself. (he told me in a text message)

Then to see if he was okay, I texted him (because I wanted to make sure he was safe) and he said that he can't wait to see me again. He also ended a few messages with "<3">

P.S. I FINISHED MY LAUNDRY! HOORAY!!!

The day of nothing, the night of everything

Woke up around 10:30 or so this morning after the late night scrabble from last evening. (more details in my last post) and went to breakfast. yay food. hung out allllllll day. then I went with wowman and some floormates to the volleyball game here. free with ID. yay!

Volleyball game was alright, we left early though. the opponent (Georgetown) was ahead two matches to one, and you need three matches to win. it wasn't looking good for AU, so that's partly why we left. other reason was because we were STARVING. We ordered in and got some pizza. yayyy pizza at 9 pm. it was actually quite tasty. :)

after pizzaness, we watched "What Happens In Vegas". It was alright, i've seen better, i've seen worse. This is where my night got interesting.

Wowman never saw the movie "Moulin Rouge" before, so I was like, oh, i have it if you want to see it, so we went over to his dorm to watch it. tool was out with his parents for a birthday dinner and he was staying over at the hotel they were at. for some reason, wowman's parents are coming down tomorrow... so hopefully we'll go to lunch before they get here.

Anyway, Moulin Rouge in Wowman's dorm. Good movie. Funnnnn times.....
Yeah. I like him. i'm in trouble.....
i don't know if we have a status or anything... but i'll inform you asap.

What a day, what a day.

So first off, i did not sleep well last night (it was quite unfortunate). I had my college writing class (nothing too terrible) and then went back to the dorm in the torrential downpour. I changed into dry clothing for my next class, where it was actually hot out and I didn't need to wear my sneakers to avoid puddles. Lame. After calculus I met up with a friend from high school in a coffee lounge and we chatted and caught up. It was good to see her, considering i haven't seen her since I moved in here.

This is where the fun begins. We went to TDR with the guys from the other dorm, Wow-man sat next to me and tool was kind of down the table more. Anyway, we watched Broken Lizard (the creators of Beerfest and Super Troopers) do some standup and some skits (they were SUPER inappropriate but funny). When that was done, we figured out our game plan for the night (which got switched up). We planned on getting a shuttle and going to see "Inglorious Bastards" at a theater near by. We missed the time of course, but we then decided to hit up the mall and play Lap tag. That's when we forgot that the grass was wet from the torrential downpour earlier. But a few people did race around the Washington Monument around midnight (people must have thought we were nuts or something) and walked around downtown singing random songs. :D it was a load of fun.

While transporting (aka the metro and the shuttle), I was sitting next to Wow-man, and we started talking some more. A little flirting was involved too... but hey, it happens. Tool is not interested in a relationship, and that's his problem. If Wow-man likes me, hey, I'll go out with him, see how things go. He calls me by my first initial, and no one else calls me that. I kind of like it. We talked about pets and siblings and all of that. Yeah, it was a grand old time. I think I'm starting to like Wow-man a bit, considering I changed my outfit and then obsessed over my hair for 20-30 minutes or so. It was bad.

ANYWAY, back @ campus (safe and sound after the 10-20 minute walk), we decided to play scrabble. NOT A GOOD IDEA WHEN EVERYONE IS TIRED. We all made short words and got trapped in corners and stuff. Wow-man and I were a team, and apparently he hasn't played scrabble before (idk how that happens) but he called me the "scrabble genius" and "the queen of scrabble".

Something I didn't know about Wow-man is that he does magic tricks. Well, he did, and he's trying to get back into the swing of things.

Anyway, it is almost 4 in the morning now, so I'm calling it a night. I'll inform you of my adventures with LAUNDRY when I get around to it (hopefully sooner rather than later, I sorted it out today).

Texts that throw me off

Last night Tool and his roommate came over to the party dorm and played Catchphrase with a bunch of peps from my floor. Tool's roommate, who i will now refer to as "Wowman" (because he plays World of Warcraft, otherwise known as "WoW") has been texting me a heck of a lot recently, and i'm thinking, oh man, if something occurs here, i will no longer be allowed into their room. EVER.

I got a few texts from Wowman yesterday and i'm confused about them. I can't tell if there's an underlying message or if it's flirting through text messages or what.

Wowman: whatsup b?

first off, no one calls me B. my first name starts with a B, but still, I introduce myself with my full name. I don't know if i like it or not. I think it's growing on me...

me: did you two make it back okay?
Wowman: No I was sexually assaulted by an asian hooker and tool (not putting his real name in here) was beaten by a gang of angry spider monkeys. :(
me: oh shit. you should've called me, i would've come to the rescue. XP (i will admit this is kind of flirty)
no response from Wowman.
me: Goodnight. and if you need an escort next time you walk back to your dorm, just let me know. XP
Wowman: They made me do... terrible things. Good night B

i have to give him some credit, i wouldn't have thought of anything that original if someone asked me if i was okay.

i'm very befuddled about the whole thing.

Update: ESPN guy!

I've been emailing this guy who works for ESPN, and he said that if I worked (on a volunteer basis of course) then I would be a PA, working in the production truck and doing random tasks that need to be done. I REALLY want to see what it's like at a football game, behind the scenes and all. Call time is at noon though, and I have a class @ 12:45. The most I could work is 2 games, one in october and one after the term's over, so if I talk to my teacher in advance, he MIGHT let me slide *crosses fingers*. I feel like a little kid on Christmas eve, waiting and hoping for something awesome to happen the next day. Wish me luck, please oh please!!

August 27th (wait, it's still August?)

So today I had three classes (it's the same schedule as Monday). Understanding Media was great, but I should arrive there at 8:15 instead of 8:30 cause we cover stuff that we don't in class. this means I have to wake up even EARLIER. ugh. But my teacher's awesome. She has connections with a guy who works with ESPN and asked for whoever was interested to see her after class. I had to go to my anthropology class, but I quickly gave her my name and she sent me an email by the time I got back from my second class. Hooray! So i emailed the ESPN guy, wondering what i would do with that.

Anyway, my anthro class was boring. My hand started cramping up because of all the writing i was quickly trying to do. Bringing my laptop next time to see if it's any better.

Lunch, nothing special. Yay food.

Went to Understanding Music. We went around and introduced ourselves to the class and talked about our past musical experience, what music we like/don't like, where we're from, major, and all that whatnot. Then my teacher divided us up into groups with people who are "music geniuses" and who aren't. Somehow, I got a group of 5 guys and myself. They all live on south side. Looks like I'll be walking a lot around exam time. yay... but there is a cute sophomore in my class, so that makes my group a bit better. :)

The cupcakes that my roommates brought back were DELICIOUS and scrumptious. Very tasty.

I didn't sleep well last night, maybe it was from the cupcakes. But whatever. It happens, you know.

Tonight, i'm probably gonna be doing more work and such and then goofing off because i don't have work due til Monday. Wahoo. :P

What a Wednesday

Wednesdays I only have an hour of Calculus, which is actually kind of nice. I actually understood most of the material that was being covered. Hooray!! =D Anyway, I've been working on my homework that's due at 8:30 tomorrow morning and it's LONG. Ugh! Save me.

While I was at class, my roommates went to Georgetown to do some shopping. Yay shopping. They went to this amazing cupcake place, called Georgetown Cupcake, and they brought back cupcakes for us to share. Yay sharing! We also got a doorstop (FINALLY) instead of using the case of water that I brought.

Went to lunch with Tool's roommate and my floormates. nothing interesting really happened, but lunch is lunch.

I also got a package today from my parents. YAY stuff that I forgot to bring! My cousin also sent me pictures of her newborn daughter. They are now hanging above my bed. I LOVE my little cousins, they are sooo adorable! Gotta love small children.

I need to get back to work. I just needed a break from writing all of this stuff for my Understanding Media class. Wahoo.

day 2 classes down

class wasn't actually that bad today. college writing should be interesting, there were 3 other people from my area in the class. woohoo! =P

then calculus (UGH) i met this girl who lives in the next hall over who never took calculus before and i was helping her a bit today. i'm glad i was helpful, but we need a bigger study group.

got stuff to make brownies w/ my roomies. making them tomorrow. also did a chunk of homework for math. sucked. ah well. went and played "Lap tag" with some floor mates and had a blast. we bonded, and got a little personal... tee hee. grabbed some dinner with some floormates who were playing, it was actually quite tasty.

we bothered tool and his roomie too. that was decent. but tool wants to hook up* and i'm like... will it be awkward? whatever. we'll see what goes down.

*note: i use the term "hook up" when two people make out. thought you should know.

2nd day of classes

Today I have college writing at 11:30ish and then I have calculus (kill me now) at 2ish. Fun times, eh?

I woke up at 9ish, my roommates got up because they had 9:55 classes, but I grabbed a shower and now feel refreshed and awake. I didn't sleep too well last night, but I'm sure I'll adjust eventually.

First Day of Class!

First day of classes, fun times eh? hoh yeah.

I had Understanding Media and Culture: Human Mirror in the morning. Then had a lunch break and had Understanding Music.

There's a girl who I met in the anthropology class who's also in the Understanding Media class. She's pretty cool. She likes Moulin Rouge like I do. Hooray for someone who also appreciates Moulin Rouge's amazing-ness. We went to Tenleytown for a little bit after our last class was over. I got a marbleized composition book that I need for Understanding Media, and she was looking for a planner. No luck in the 3 different stores we went to (the container store, CVS, and whole foods -why they'd have it i don't know). Oh well. we got to know each other better.

In Understanding Media, I went with my floor-mate who is also a communications major. Hooray. So knowing someone in one of my classes helped. I actually knew a guy from orientation in my anthropology class and another floor-mate was in my Understanding Music class. it helps to know people. Seriously. it makes it easier.

All my teachers/professors seem pretty cool. So far, so good. The only issue i have is that I can't find the work that I need to know for Understanding Media (it's supposed to be online, but it's NOT).

I realized that UM can be Understanding Media or Understanding Music. Wow. I have mad skill. Anyway, it took me an hour to print out 13 pages for an article for Culture: the Human Mirror. The article took me just as long to read and highlight. sucks.

I got an email from my Understanding Media professor and she sent everyone our first assignment. Basically i have to record my interaction with media for 24 hours. Whoopie, right? XP

take me out to the ball game..

went to a Nationals game today. had fun.
stayed up worrying about tool.
things aren't looking too good for him.

class tomorrow.

shortest blog post ever.

Party on Garth

Went to my first official frat party. the frat brothers were real gentlemen, they not only gave rides to the party, they gave sober rides BACK to campus. It was really exciting to see that they get you back to campus safely.

I saw my OL from orientation, he mixed a rum and coke for me. i didn't actually drink any of it. wahoo. Had a cup of beer that i gave to tool's roommate. i'm not going to lie, I did try a few different things (beer, jumble/jungle juice [poison punch], rum and coke) but i didn't like any of it. It was scary to see one of my friends getting drunk and getting wasted. He had a beer or two, some punch, and played 2 games of beer pong. i think the second round of beer pong did it for him. He was super tipsy and then got sick. we took him outside where he was being puke-y and ugh, it sucked. I'm worried about him, he couldn't walk by himself, let alone with two people to a car.

UPDATE: Tool just got transported to the hospital. His roommate's going with him. The worst part of it is that he is 17, and since he's under 18, the hospital has to call his parents. at 1 in the morning. I'm praying that everything will be okay.

Party On Wayne

hooked up with tool. dunno if that was a mistake or not, but i'm sure i'll figure stuff out. he doesn't want to be in a relationship, and he told me that up front. i'm glad he told me that, but it sucks because we have SUCH chemistry and i'm like GAH I'M FRUSTRATED AND I WANT A BOYFRIEND. good stuff, eh?

going to a frat party tonight! i won't drink anything, but watching drunk people get smashed should be a party. wahoo. i'll let you know how it goes!

rain rain GO AWAY!

Went out to the National Zoo. BIG MISTAKE. it was raining. loads. and it sucked.
went with 3 floormates plus tool. tool kind of put his arm around me at times... but it was just weird because he wouldn't do it ALL the time. it was kind of scarce. i didn't like the scarce. but whatever.

i am now comfy in my sweatpants and a new tshirt. the outfit i wore is soaked to the core, along with my umbrella. but my umbrella's drying off in the hall. :P

now to figure out dinner plans along with plans for partying tonight. might go out with my floor plus tool, but i don't plan on drinking. i don't even like liquor. so i shall observe people getting smashed. voluntarily. should be fun. XP

Found somebody....

Today was convocation. ridiculous. got free baseball hats. still long though. ran into a hallmate that i met @ orientation (different floor), forgot how cute he was.

anyway, after orientation i went to lunch with a floormate or two and one of my floormates brought a friend. i'm going to call this guy "tool" because that's what he is. he called me one too, and even though we tease each other we hit it off extremely well. we have been constantly texting, we went on a target run after the different schools within AU had their meetings. SOC had ben and jerry's ice cream, and i got a free t-shirt. hooray for shirts. :P

on our way to target, I ran into a girl who i knew from high school. she looked good, talking about getting some booze and having fun.

target run was good. tool and my floormate made a fool of themselves in 3 different locations, the metro, "potbelly's" and target. My floormate (a girl) and i just kind of wandered off on our own so we could actually get our shopping done. we hit up a restaurant called "potbellys" after and it was decent. i sat next to the tool. came back from target, watched "Superbad". not a huge fan of it, but sat next to tool again.

then we went to the quad to play capture the flag, but found out that it was ultimate frisbee instead. i suck @ frisbee, but whatever. had fun getting sweaty and gross. worked off the ice cream from the SOC social.

then we played scattagories, tool had his arm around me a little bit when we were on the same team. hooray. we kind of had our arms around each other at random moments in time... and it was kind of fun. he's from the same area as i am, so that's pretty cool too.

fire drills aren't that big of a deal.

FLOOR MEETING TOOK 2 FREAKING HOURS.
apparently people like to fixate on fire drills/procedures. why? who knows.

Anyhoo, after the floor meeting, i went to the ampitheater (aka right outside my dorm) and the movie "I Love You Man" was playing on this giant inflatable screen thing. kind of cool. they had free popcorn, candy, and soda. :) we also got free cups with the popcorn. yayy free stuff.

then i went to the lounge and played scattagories with a few floormates + a guy from another dorm. he seemed pretty cool. XP he was definitely funny. =P

Yeah, so today is congregation or something absolutely ridiculous. attendance is "mandatory", so no way of us getting out of it.

Day 4 Adventures

Didn't get any command strips for my posters/other stuff at the bookstore. The books that my roommate ordered weren't ready yet, but that's okay.

Went down to Georgetown with the same group as the other day, minus one girl and plus two others. So it was interesting, went window shopping (others actually bought stuff). also got some ben and jerry's ice cream. yum. =D

Not sure what my plans are for tonight, there's a floor meeting that i'm required to go to and then i might go see a movie in the ampitheater (outside) but yeah. i'll figure things out.

Day 4

Went to bed around 2 am. That was fun. Got up around 10:30 this morning. Haven't really been anywhere besides the bathroom so far. I might go to Georgetown with the same group that I went out with yesterday. We didn't get around to Georgetown yesterday because we were all tired and hungry.

So i've been thinking about the boy I met on the bus (transfer boy) and this other guy who I met last night at the Quad after Dark. He was very cute as well, and I'm like, wow. Guys here are attractive. I just wish my hair was longer because sometimes i feel like my haircut seems too short, aka looks like a guy with long hair. :( Oh well, it'll be back before I know it.

Going with roomie #2 to the bookstore to pick up her books. i'm going to grab sticky stuff for the walls while i'm there. i'll inform you of my journey later on.

Still Day #3

After dinner, a few hallmates and myself went down to the quad after dark. I didn't expect to be anything interesting, but they had this whole spiel laid out for us. It was like a carnival, but awesome. They had music close to the library and a mini-dance area (just on the grass in the quad) along with multiple inflatable bounce things and free food. They also have a few clubs/organizations (i think mostly religious) there to try and get new people.

That was a blast, and then we all went back up to the common room to play scattagories. YAY SCATTAGORIES! One of my favorite games ever. XD Many people ended up leaving late, so we played poker (aka me and two male hallmates) and we had fun. i shared AVPM with them... i couldn't resist.

We might hit up target for some batteries and food and such. That will be a trip.

Day 3

Today was good (so far, the day is still young)

Went to breakfast with both my roomies, then we came back and one went back home for the night. (she lives close) The other took a nap while i stayed holed up in the room, debating on what to do for the hour or so before we were going to venture off to DC.

So a group of 8 (including myself) took the shuttle to the metro. while on the shuttle, i met this really cute guy, but i had to get off before we could talk about any parties we were going to that night. *sigh*

Anyway, the metro was an exciting adventure... aka now i know what to expect whenever i want to go into town. we went to the Smithsonian Natural Museum today and wandered around there. then we walked by the Washington Monument and then walked to the White House. didn't actually go in it of course, but still had a good time. We all walked to the metro (again) and went back to campus for some grub, and we're planning on hitting up the quad after dark, along with maybe hitting up a few parties. I'll let you know how the night turns out!

Still Day #2

Tuesday. Oh man.

So you know how I met my roomie #1, well, roomie #2 moved in later today... and brought her whole family.
It was a grand old time.

Roomie #1, friend from another dorm, her roommate, and myself went to lunch together.
Then we proceeded to hang out in the common room on our floor, where we met two fellow floormates.
They were nice and friendly, and another floormate came in to read our assigned reading. No progress with her though.
I met a ton of people today, lots of them are really friendly, which is good. :D Now to just remember their names.

Tonight was fun too. We were chilling in the common room where we played spoons, and then proceeded to play taboo with a bunch of people on our floor.
They were from "university college". Still had fun. After taboo madness, 7 or 8 floormates decided that they wanted to learn the dance to "Jai Ho" from "Slumdog Millionaire"
This was very amusing to watch.

I laughed a heck of a lot. So I must be having a good time. :D

Roomies are here!

Today, I was just chilling in my dorm room, watching AVPM, and roommate #1 moved in. Hooray! She's unpacking stuff now, but she's pretty cool. we hung out all day today along with two girls from movie night in another dorm. We went to lunch and just hung out really. Walked to our dorm and played cards in the common room while roommate #2 moved her stuff in. There we met a few people. Hooray, I'm getting to know people! This is so exciting!

There's this program at AU called "University College" and it's basically a group of people who take 5 hr classes on one subject and discuss it and things like that. It's like a seminar. The other end of my hall has one of the classes full of University College students, and so they call my side "the other side". We're apparently shady like that. They all hang out and apparently sleep together and hate each other by the end of the year. Fun times, eh?

Moving day

Today I officially moved into my dorm room. It's somewhat empty without my roommates, but they'll be here soon. Roommate A brought stuff in yesterday but is going to finish unpacking and such tomorrow, and Roommate B is just moving in tomorrow.

I bought my books today, and they were ridiculously priced... as most textbooks are. My family helped me move in and we unloaded the big items and made my bed and stuff. I just got rid of the clutter on my bed after they left.

I was a little nervous about getting to know people, but I met someone who was involved with their colorguard in high school (like me) and we ended up watching a movie in her room with her roommates and some of their other friends. They were all friendly and it was a good night.

i'm gonna hit the sack because i don't know what time the dining room is open til and i want to make sure i get some good eats if i'm gonna go explore DC a bit with my colorguard friend.

Nervous? Not as much, but still when i'm trying to meet people.
Excited? Yeah, i'm getting there. :)

2 days

I just finished my last day of work. Everyone (aka my coworkers and my boss) was saying to have a good time, don't stress out, and to not party too hard. That's what I plan on.

But it still seems kind of unreal to me. I'm like... am i really leaving? I AM going away to college?

I just realized that I never told you where I'm going. I'm attending American University, located in Washington D.C. What better place to major in communications than the nation's capital?

...i still need to figure out a minor though. and i know i have time, so i won't worry about it too much right now.

Anyway, back to my train of thought. Going away to school? fun. but still a little scary.

Again.
Nervous? A bit.
Excited? Oh yeah.
Anxious? very.

3 days (well, technically 2)

Well, besides working my butt off to get money for books for college, i've been packing, packing, packing.
Sounds like a blast, eh? Not so much. I didn't realize how much clothing i'd be bringing to school.
SURPRISE! i filled up one of those big tubs full. wahoo.

Anyway, I had a get-together with some of my close friends. I figured I wouldn't see them until winter break (i have a short thanksgiving break, and ONE day off for fall break).
It was bittersweet for me, because i realized that it would be a few months before i'd see my amazing friends again.
I'm trying not to cry right now because i miss them already, and we said our goodbye (for now)s a half hour ago.

The get-together lasted a long time though, 5 HOURS! I told people that the times were 7-10, because i do have to work tomorrow.
One of my work friends came, so that was nice. She even brought a "college survival kit" for me, aka a bag with ramen noodles and LOADS of candy.
Honestly, I'm trying to avoid the freshman 15 (even if it is a myth) but she is such a sweetie. People stayed til midnight, so i guess they had fun.

Right now, i'm trying to get myself to get excited for moving in and all of the amazing people i'll meet, but part of me still doesn't want to leave.
my friends leave at the end of next week or in 2 weeks. Soooo sad.

But moving in and meeting new people should be fun, right? (well, maybe not moving...)
I talked to my cousin who lives a few states away and she goes to Queens college.
The one piece of advice she gave me was that I should introduce myself to everyone and be a little obnoxious.
That way, I'll get to know LOTS of people.

Should I be a socialite? I don't even know what clubs/groups I want to join!
Help me out!!

7 Days!

I feel like quoting the song by the Barenaked Ladies - "One Week"
There's only one week left! Yay! (but i am still nervous)

I found the comforter! It took me 6 different stores to find it: Bed Bath and Beyond (i went to two different locations), Macy's, Boscov's, Sears, and Kohl's. Found it at Kohl's. Probably my favorite store of all time. I also got two sets of sheets while I was there, so I am set in the bedding department.

I bought a lapdesk and a "husband" (that's the official name of it- it's a cushion that wraps around you, hence "husband") the other day.

I've also started packing clothes, and it's hard to decide what clothes I want to leave here (or plan on wearing this last week) and what clothes I want to bring with me.

Good news! I got two sets of storage drawers, two underbed storage bins, AND a trashcan for FREE! my mom's friend has a bunch of storage stuff that ex-college kids gave to her (don't know why) and we washed them out.
so i'm bringing the dorm trash can. wahoo.

Also, my roommates and I have decided what bunks we want.

14 days...

2 Weeks left! Hooray!

I'm trying to see all of my high school friends before I go off to school. It's hard, because they have plans of their own, along with packing and shopping to do as well.

My mom went on a Target run (my family loves Target) and she bought me school supplies... like napkins, bowls, plastic silverware, cups, and so on.

I love my mom. She saved me time. She also bought all of that along with plastic hangers for me (they're pink and blue) while I was working, earning money for school books. yay.

I used up the Bed Bath and Beyond gift cards from my graduation party on towels, a lint brush, a desk lamp, light bulbs for the lamp, and a bunch of other stuff, but not the most important item that pulls the room together. You know, the comforter. and a few sets of sheets wouldn't hurt either.

i'll keep you updated on the quest for the perfect comforter.

21 days

I have three weeks before i move into my college dorm. Two strangers (we've talked through facebook) are living in the same room as me.

Excited? Definitely.

Nervous? A teeny bit.

The longest I've shared a room was about 3 weeks long. I also knew my roommate, so that didn't hurt.

I've started gathering my supplies for my room and what not. Along with "True Enough: Learning to Live in a Post-Fact Soceity" (school reading). Fun times.

I'm staring at three blue storage tubs that have invaded my room, along with presents that I got at my graduation party (a memo board, pajamas, a towel set, lotion, a shower caddy).

So right now i'm alright for college. Definitely have a long way to go.
